Pactamere Farm & Goat Yoga RVA is currently building our 2026 Summer Camp team! We’re looking for energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic leaders who love working with children, being outdoors, and creating memorable summer experiences.

About Our Camps

Hosted on our family farm in Glen Allen, VA, our camps offer a blend of:

• Outdoor play & nature exploration
• Hands-on farm animal interactions (yes — goats!)
• Creative crafts & STEM activities
• Leadership-building games
• Safe, fun, and engaging summer excitement for ages 4–12

Season Details

• Dates: Early June – Mid August (11 weeks)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Location: Glen Allen, Virginia
• Age Groups: 4–12

Some counselors may choose to work the full season, while others may select specific weeks depending on availability.

👥 

Positions Available

We are hiring for multiple counselor roles:

Lead Counselors (18+)

• Oversees camper groups & activity flow
• Leads crafts, games, and animal interactions
• Works closely with Camp Leadership Team
• Experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or similar preferred

Main Counselors (18+)

• Supervises campers and supports programming
• Assists with activities, transitions, crafts, and games
• Works as a core part of our daily staff team

Junior Counselors (16–17)

• Assists counselors and engages with younger campers
• Supports crafts, games, snack time, and transitions
• Perfect entry role for teens interested in education, childcare, veterinary/animal care, or leadership

Requirements

• Must enjoy working with children
• Must be comfortable outdoors in summer weather
• Must demonstrate responsibility, patience, and positivity
• Junior Counselors: no prior experience required
• Lead/Main Counselors: prior childcare, camp, or leadership experience preferred

💰 

Compensation

Competitive Pay:

• Junior & Main Counselors: $15–$20/hour (based on experience)
• Lead Counselors: $25/hour
