Paint Night with Goats- Classes

Create a tribute to your furry friends while enjoying some snuggles from our baby goat pals!

This is a stress free, beginner friendly class. A professional artist walks you through color mixing and painting techniques to get your pet’s fur and features just right. There’s no guesswork and no pressure.

Paint your dog, chicken, iguana, pig or goat! – we don’t discriminate. At the end of the night, you’ll have a frame-worthy keepsake. This event is a must for every pet lover!

What To Expect

Our artist will sketch out your pet on the canvas prior to the day of class, and on the night of your class, you will paint your partner! Our artist instructor will be there to help you with the steps, give you tips and tricks, and help you with color.

Please keep in mind this is *NOT* a step-by-step class.  It is a bit more challenging than our step-by-step classes, but everyone loves a challenge!!

You will have an amazing masterpiece of your partner created all by yourself! And let's be honest - there is SO MUCH FUN in that!!

What To Know

• Send a clean, clear photo of your furry friend.
• Your paintings will have a background of your choice.
• Photos need to be emailed to us no less than 72 hours prior to class. If we do not receive your photo by the requested time, we cannot guarantee the sketch will be ready.
• We do not have an age limit for class.
• There is no dress code, but please dress comfortably. Class will be held inside our heated event building. Our baby goats will be dressed and diapered and accompany you the entire time. 

Join us as we take you step-by-step in painting  sunflowers. You’ll learn everything from blending backgrounds to adding fine details while also enjoying some cuddly baby goats.

Your ticket includes:

• Snacks and non alcoholic beverages
• All art materials, including 11x14 canvas to create your masterpiece.
• A fun and patient artist guiding you step-by-step through your artwork.
• Adorable baby goats who will shower you with love and affection.

Join us for a creative workshop where you will make your own handmade 14 ounce soy wax candle while enjoying some silly and snuggly baby goats! 

We will provide everything you need to make your own hand poured, winter scented candle! We will provide an assortment of essential oils, including our best selling seasonal scents for you to make your custom candle fragrance.

All candle making supplies included: Apothecary Jar vessel and bamboo lid, label, wax, wick and instruction. 

 If you want to bring your own jar that's fine too as long as it holds under 14 fluid ounces. 

This class will be held inside of our heated event space (in the winter months) and our little goats will be there too, ready to cheer you on and make you laugh. 

Participants are welcome to snuggle, feed and pet our dwarf goats in their play area during the class.

One beverage and cookies included. Additional beverages, charcuterie boards and snacks will be available for purchase.

This class is suitable for ages 10 and up.

Candles can be taken home after the class.  This class is scheduled for 3 hours to allow your candle adequate setting time. During the setting period, guests are welcome to snuggle with our baby goats, meet our other farm animals, including our mini cow, Annie and socialize. Guests are welcome to leave after their candle is finished and pick up at a later date.  

Please note: We recommend allowing 2-3 days to for your candle to fully cure and enjoy!

Discover the art of wet felting in this Mitten Wet Felting Class, where you'll craft your own cozy and functional felted mittens from natural fiber. This hands-on class will guide you through the entire process, from creating a pattern, to preparing the fiber, to felting, shaping, and finishing your mittens.

Wet felting is one of several methods which can produce felt from alpaca and other animal fibers. Warm soapy water is applied to layers of fiber placed at ninety degree angles to one another. Repeated agitation and compression causes the fibers to hook together into a single piece of fabric. In this class you will be wet felting a pair of the warmest mittens you have ever worn. Felting around a resist, you will be amazed at how a mass of fiber magically becomes an article of clothing custom fit to your own hand ... no knitting or crocheting required!

Whether you're new to wet felting or looking to expand your skills, this class is perfect for all skill levels. You'll learn:

The basics of wet felting techniques.

How to work with natural fiber to create durable and warm mittens.

Tips and tricks for achieving a custom fit and unique designs.

Learn to sculpt a plush stuffed animal out of roving (produced during the process of making spun yarn from wool fleece). In this class you will learn the basics of needle felting a three dimensional object, how to create a core shape, apply an outer color, ears, arms, and legs, if desired, as well as create facial features. Students can choose different colors and each will design their own unique craft.
